About me and my therapy practice
I work privately as a counsellor with Individuals, I have experience working with adults and adolescents. I work with clients suffering with addiction, anxiety, depression and loss.
Having someone to listen to your concerns outside your friends and family can be a huge support, offering an unbiased ear to hear your thoughts and feelings. Life can be a struggle and can lead to feelings of helplessness, anxiety and depression. Many situations can be the catalyst for these feelings from a new job, baby or relationship, to a relationship breakdown, work related stress, bereavement, health issues, addiction, parenting, or any situation which evokes new feelings, the impact can suddenly tip from being manageable to suddenly affecting our daily life, affecting you and your family, work and people around you, if you can relate to any of this, let me help.
In addition to being a private practitioner, I also work in the education sector as a School Counsellor.
I am an experienced Bereavement Counsellor, I have helped many people struggling with grief and loss to find new paths to work through their emotions.
Due to the COV-19 pandemic I am currently offering sessions via Zoom, Skype or the telephone.
I will offer you a safe confidential space for you to explore your feelings, fears and difficulties without having to worry about the impact this might have on your friends and family, giving you the opportunity to work out a meaningful way to move forward.
I know how important it is to find the right person for you. I offer an empathetic and non-judgemental ear to allow you to encounter an easier experience.
At the heart of my work is the belief I have in people and their ability to unlock their inner strengths to reach their full potential. We can work together to identify ways to resolve difficult feelings you may be experiencing and uncover what factors may be contributing to the issue. With my support, we can expose new insights which you may not have discovered alone, this could be a new strength, or finding new ways to solve past or present issues that could help you towards living a satisfying healthy life.
