Hi, welcome to my profile.
I am a fully qualified Humanistic, Gestalt therapist with a wealth of experience working with children and young adults as I worked in primary and secondary schools for 30 years. Additionally, I supported adults through an agency in Southampton for several years before starting in private practice.
I am passionate about my work. I am an empathic, caring, approachable person, and through counselling ,building a two way working relationship ,you will be able to gain an insight into yourself, the way you relate to others and your situation in the here and now. During therapy you will be able to explore different ways of looking at your life and choices you make.
My aim as a Counsellor /Psychotherapist is to provide a safe, comfortable non-judgemental environment where you feel supported and able to explore your issues in order to move forward and work towards a resolution.
I offer a free initial consultation by phone to provide time to meet, discuss your needs and answer any questions so that you can then decide if counselling is appropriate for you.
I am based near Totton, on the edge of the New forest. I work from an office in my home. Parking on the drive is provided.
