About me and my therapy practice

Are you struggling with anxiety, stress, depression or sadness? Maybe something from your past is holding you back? Have you ever found yourself caught up in the same frustrating spiral, trying to break free from old habits, but somehow end up right back where you started?  You don’t have to face this alone.

As a dedicated and compassionate counsellor I work with adults and children offering a safe space for self-discovery and growth. I have experience working with many different types of emotional and psychological problems.  Whether you’re navigating life’s challenges, seeking personal development or enhancing relationships I am here for you. I can support you in addressing your problems in a positive way by helping you to clarify the issues, explore options, develop strategies and increase your own self-awareness for a more fulfilling life.

I have experience working with different charities and agencies. My special interest is working with trauma and survivors of sexual abuse. I have extensive training in this field and work within a trauma informed practice.

I have many years of experience working with Children in different settings including working as a school counsellor. I now work with children from the age of 6 in private practice.

Practice description

I customize my approach and way of working to align with the unique needs of each individual.

I offer flexible hours with day and evening sessions and some weekend availability. Sessions are usually weekly or fortnightly and these do not have to be on the same day or time each week as I work with each individual client’s needs.

My therapy room is in Maidstone and has good access to parking and public transport. Please note there is one flight of stairs up to my therapy room. Apologies but there isn't a lift

My first session

I understand that searching for a counsellor can be difficult, especially if you are feeling vulnerable or anxious . Finding the right counsellor can be a daunting process, this is why I offer a free 30-minute meeting. This is where you can see how I work and explore your goals and expectations from our time together. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is at the heart of the counselling process, so finding the right counsellor is the key to the work and the counselling process. My aim is to make you as comfortable as possible and support you on your journey of change. Your well-being matters, so please feel free to reach out with any inquiries or questions that you may have.
