About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor with 10 years counselling skills experience.
As a counsellor I am honest, empathetic, warm and professional offering unconditional positive regard to all of my clients. I can offer a safe, confidential environment where you will not feel judged or uncomfortable as we work together to explore your thoughts feelings and behaviours to help you to move forward in a more positive light.
I have a special interest in working with clients who are presenting with relationship issues and work-related stress and in particular the key workers e.g. teachers, health care professionals, emergency services and single mums.
I am passionate about mental health and well-being and know that during this current turbulent and uncertain time, we need to look out for each other and talk about your worries, stresses and anxieties. As we begin to move forward through this pandemic it has never been more important to ensure our key workers mental health is looked after and stress free.
When working with you, I will use which ever counselling model that is more appropriate to your individual needs. This is because everyone experiences life and difficulties in a completely different ways therefore, needing bespoke therapy. I will work with you to explore your feelings, relationships with others etc to resolve those feelings that stem from your past that may now be causing you some difficulties.

I am an integrative counsellor working with several schools of thoughts and practices. I am a registered member of the BACP and I abide by its Code of Ethics. This includes keeping up to date with continuing professional development and supervision.
People come to therapy for many different reasons and you don’t have to be in a crisis to seek out help.
Therapy can involve talking about your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, difficult events that you have experienced or relationships. It can also be about behaviour change or dealing with negative thoughts.
My first session
I offer an initial free of charge, no obligation 30 minute consultation, this gives us a chance to meet and discuss what you presenting issues and what you wish to get out of your therapy.
It is an important part of the process as it enables you to get a sense for how and where I work and decide if it is right for you.
