About me and my therapy practice
At times life can hurt or you may feel stuck and unable to move on.
I offer you a stable and supportive place where you can talk about those things that you may find difficult to share with others for whatever reason. I will listen and help you to put into words all those things that you need to let out or that are holding you back.
I have experience with different issues, including:
Loss, trauma, depression, anxiety, bereavement, memories of abuse, low self-esteem, loneliness, abortion or miscarriage.
In my practice I have worked closely with problems around loss. This could be of a loved one, a job, a relationship or something else irreplaceable. I also have experience of the challenges faced by people arriving in London or the UK for the first time, and how this can trigger a sense of alienation and loss of family and friends.
Loss can trigger many different emotions and reactions depending on the particular circumstances, which are by their nature unique for each person. I will be there for you with whatever you bring into our space.
I am bilingual and can offer sessions in English and Spanish. I also have a degree in Fine Arts and this influences my work. I believe that creativity and use of the imagination are ideal channels for reconnecting with our unconscious sides and bringing more parts of ourselves to our awareness.
In the current situation, I am working online, using platforms such as Zoom, Skype and FaceTime. I also work over the phone, if that seems a better option for you. It is important that you find a medium that you feel comfortable with.
I charge £35 per session.
I offer a FREE 30 minutes first session where we can discuss your specific needs and you can evaluate how would it feel working with me.

I like to discuss with my clients the way they feel they want to work. There is no rigid agenda. Goals and approaches are talked over during the sessions. Sometimes they can be redefined as the needs change or the work evolves.
I find it important to follow the client's lead and stay always by their side, I am a true believer in the client's inner wisdom. However, I am happy to provide a more directive and structured method when clients wish.
As an integrative counsellor, I believe that the only framework that truly works is the one which is fluid enough to adapt to the client’s personal circumstances and needs.
I am also a Spanish speaker so I can alternatively provide therapy in this language.
My first session
The first session is the moment to get to know each other and gives you an opportunity to talk about the reasons that brought you to counselling. You may want to use this session to ask questions about me, how I work or to express what goals you would like to achieve during our time working together.
The first session is also an opportunity for you to develop opinions about it would be to work with me
This session is exploratory for both of us. It is also about us finding out if we can work together.
