About me and my therapy practice
During the Coronavirus outbreak, for the protection of clients, I will be working entirely online, using video- and audio-conferencing. I am a psychotherapist and counsellor, with experience extending over more than twenty-five years. I offer a compassionate and accepting therapy service to both individuals and couples from my light and comfortable consulting room.
My approach combines sensitive exploration of underlying themes from the past and present with a focus on the changes you wish to bring about for the future. I work both in short-term and the longer-term with individuals and couples, depending on the needs of the client.
I hold and Advanced Diploma in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (Wessex C&P), a postgraduate diploma in psychodynamic counselling from the University of Reading (1996), as well as a diploma in solution-focused, brief therapy, gained from the University of Birmingham (2005). I am also a qualified and experienced supervisor of other practitioners (Cascade, 2006).
As well as practising as a psychotherapist and counsellor, I work as an organisational consultant and an executive coach. I have a MA in ‘Consultation and the Organisation’ from the Tavistock Centre, and I have trained in executive coaching at Ashridge Business School.
Counselling is a service which is tailored to the needs of each client. This also applies to fees - please contact me to discuss what is right for you.
