About me and my therapy practice

Looking for a professional to work with and explore what is going on for you can be daunting, I can help.

Are you looking for someone in your corner, with a gentle presence and warmth to accompany you while you figure out that which means a lot to you?

Clients I have worked with have experienced loss and bereavement, depression, anxiety and stress, illness, domestic abuse and trauma.

Although the therapy can sometimes be tough, clients have reported during and after sessions feeling hope, a future and opportunities where previously they did not.

How I work

I work in an Integrative way – this means I call on Person Centred, Transactional Analysis and Gestalt theory and techniques to help you progress in your journey.

What this means for you is that I don’t believe “one size fits all” and will tailor the session to you and your needs. This can include working creatively – don’t panic, I’m not expecting Picasso!

If you would like to find out more, call or send me an email to arrange an initial 10 – 15 minute chat to see if we could work together. I want you to feel confident that you are working with the right person for you, or if there is someone else I can refer you onto who would be better suited to you.

If you are not able to call or email me, feel free to send a text and we can book in an initial 10 minute conversation.

Practice description

The practice is a 10-15 minute walk away from Angel Tube Station and is light and airy.

Unfortunately the building does not have disabled access.  The therapy rooms are located on multiple floors reached by staircase.

My first session

Your first session is an opportunity to meet me and see whether you would like to work with me.  It also offers me the chance to see if I am the right person for you to work with.

During the session I will complete an assessment form where I will go through a set of questions to find out a little bit more about yourself.

If I think that you would benefit from working with a therapist from a different discipline, I will say.

What I can help with

Abuse, Anxiety, Bereavement, Chronic fatigue syndrome / ME, Depression, Health related issues, Loss, Post-traumatic stress, Relationships, Self esteem, Stress, Trauma, Women's issues
