About me and my therapy practice
I have been counselling for several years, and am currently working in G.P. and university settings. I believe that sometimes, life can throw us challenges we had not anticipated, and at times like this, counselling can be a source of help. I aim to work with you in a secure and non-judgemental way to facilitate resolution to the issues you are dealing with. We would collaborate together to set realistic goals about what can be achieved in counselling, and explore this in our time together. I have worked with clients on a diverse range of issues including cross-cultural/racial and ethnic minority awareness, spirituality, work-related stress, anxiety, PTSD, domestic violence, sexual abuse, self-esteem, gender and identity. I am available on Friday and Wednesday mornings.
I hold a Certificate of Proficiency in Counselling, am accredited and have been awarded a Foundation Degree in Integrative Counselling with Distinction. I am available on Friday and Wednesday mornings. I abide by the ethical framework of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and the Association of Christian Counsellors.
