About me and my therapy practice
Most of the time we may cope with whatever life throws our way, but sometimes it gets too much. Even then, reaching out to a therapist is not the easiest thing to do, and it takes courage for anyone to bare their soul to a complete stranger.
As a humanistic existential counsellor, I do not claim to be able to ‘fix’ anyone’s problems. The aim is for you to become aware and trusting of your own strengths, of how you react to whatever comes your way, so that you ultimately become your own source of resilience.
My job is to create a safe space for you to take the time to be who you are, to say the un-sayable, to allow all emotions and all thoughts, and for you to go through this experience without being judged or feeling diminished.
I currently work remotely, and can offer video, voice or live chat sessions, as well as email therapy. It may take some time to work out which suits you best, and it could well be a combination of some or all these ways of working. I qualified in 2016, I am registered with the BACP and ACTO, and have full professional liability insurance.
