About me and my therapy practice
Hello - I offer supportive, effective counselling and coaching.
I am a warm and empathetic person, which means I make a good listener and a good sounding board too. I am non-judgemental, curious and encouraging about how people can live their best life, whatever your circumstances or personal challenges.
So I hope to meet you and support you on your next steps.
(I offer a free online first 30 minutes session- to help you choose the right person for you.)
Practice description
I do not have a fixed idea about which of the many counselling theories to apply, with all their confusing names! Nor about what your ‘problems’ or ‘solutions’ are....
Instead my integrative training means I have a range of counselling theories and practises to draw from - and the most important thing is the connection we establish, of trust and safety for you.
I will listen deeply to your troubles, experiences, emotions and ideas, however heavy they are or uncertain they make you feel.
Together we can explore ways to help you to (re)discover your strengths and opportunities and to live life more fully and with less stress and distress.
I have experience in a wide range of client backgrounds, and client issues - as well as a particular interest in people living with physical health challenges (from fertility to chronic fatigue).

We can work online, in person in a lovely therapy space in Forest Hill or even go for early River Thames or South London park 'walk and talk' sessions. .
My first session
I suggest we have a free 30 minute phone call or zoom - so you can get a better sense of me and if I feel right for you. It is really helpful if you are able to email me ahead of this with a brief outline of what brings you into counselling and /or coaching.
Assuming you chose to work with me, our next session (paid) starts the fuller assessment process - and it will be a chance for you to explain in more depth what may be troubling you and what you hope to achieve.
