About me and my therapy practice
I provide a safe, warm and empathic environment to allow clients to explore whatever difficulties they are facing in their lives. The model I use is integrative, which means I can to tailor my approach to the individual client. The model combines psychodynamic work, which is looking at the past, and a person-centred approach which focuses on responding to what is going on for the client in the present. I can help you process any current issues or challenges, and will also help you to think about what impact aspects of your past may have had on you. I strongly believe that it is through a deeper understanding of ourselves that we are able to grow and develop to our full potential.
I have a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and a PG Cert. in Couple and Individual Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I have experience working with depression, anxiety, relationships and identity and whether you have a particular issue you are dealing with, or you just want to understand yourself a little better, I will provide a supportive space for you to think about whatever it is you need to think about in order to achieve your own personal growth.
