Availability

I currently have availability for new clients wherever you live in the UK.

I offer Telephone and online appointments throughout the year, with the exception of December, when there will be no sessions.

Our appointments will be weekly, on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Some flexibility may be offered if you work shifts or irregular hours.

Please telephone or email me, and leave a message so I can get back to you. Then, if we think we would like to try working together, we can book the next appointment.

Trust and confidence form a crucial part of the important therapeutic relationship. It is vital that you feel you can benefit from talking to me.  Choosing to continue will always be your choice, and I promise to respect that.

About me and my therapy practice

About Me: I am a highly qualified and experienced Bereavement & Loss Counsellor with an established online practice, working from Henley on Thames. I currently offer online and telephone sessions.

I specialise in working with loss and bereavement whatever the reason.

Having personally experienced the traumatic death of a close family member, I understand the shock, pain, isolation caused. I strongly believe that with the right support, it is possible to regain a sense of hope for your future.

Who Do I Work With?

Bereavement: I support adults who have lost someone in any circumstance. Some may have suffered the pain resulting from tragic loss. Some may have lost several people at once, or over time. For others, the passing of a cherished pet can trigger difficult feelings.

In each case, the feelings arising will be individual. There is no 'right' nor 'wrong' way to grieve. There is no 'normal' timeframe for it either. It can be years or even decades before a person decides to seek support.

Loss: When someone experiences major loss such as their home, a job and/or a relationship, it can feel like there is no hope. Finding someone who can listen non-judgmentally to your story can help.

I can support you now and over time, to rediscover some sense of a 'new normal'.

How I Work: I qualified as an Integrative counsellor, with focus on person-centred talking therapy, and occasionally other techniques. As you share your thoughts and feelings, you will be listened to with respect, compassion and empathy. The cornerstone of this approach is support through non-judgmental active listening. You will feel 'heard' and be encouraged to explore your experience in a safe therapeutic space.

About me and my therapy practice

About Me: I am a highly qualified and experienced Bereavement & Loss Counsellor with an established practice, in Henley on Thames.

I offer online and telephone support to adults nationally, working with any loss or bereavement.

Having also suffered the traumatic death of a close family member, I understand how that feels. I strongly believe that with the right support, it is possible to regain a sense of hope for your future.

Who Do I Work With?

Bereavement: I support adults who have lost a child, an adult or a friend. It may be anticipated, unexpected or traumatic loss. Sometimes the passing of a cherished pet can trigger difficult feelings from past loss.

Your reactions will be personal to you. There is no 'right' or 'wrong' way to grieve. There is no 'normal' timeframe for it either. It can be years or even decades before a person decides to seek support.

Loss: When someone experiences major loss such as their home, a job and/or a relationship, it can feel like there is no hope. Finding someone who can listen non-judgmentally to your story can help.

I can support you now, to rediscover some sense of a 'new normal'.

You will feel 'heard' and be encouraged to explore your experience in a safe therapeutic space.

Bereavement and loss can happen at any time so you may already  be dealing with separate life challenges eg family or work related.  For this reason I indicate in this profile that I work with a wide range of life issues. If you wish to address these in your therapy I will encourage you to do so.
