About me and my therapy practice

I will be offering face to face appointments in my therapy rooms from 6th July with social distancing measures in place. 

Online sessions and walk and talk therapy also available.

You may be going through a difficult time or facing something that is hard to cope with in your life. You may be feeling worried, scared, empty, sad or angry and feel unable to control your emotions. You may feel alone in your problems and not sure where to turn. You are not alone. I am here to support you and work together with you to help you feel better and find a way forward.

I support people going through difficulties in their lives such as life transitions, relationship difficulties, breakdown or divorce. Parenting and Pregnancy struggles. Work pressure or loss of job, exam stress, difficulty making decisions or loss of direction and motivation. Long term illness or disability, bereavement, past trauma and abuse. And those struggling with anxiety, stress, panic attacks, depression, low self-esteem, confidence issues, self-harm, eating disorders and substance abuse.

I offer you a warm, confidential, safe space where you can talk freely about what you are going through. To feel heard, understood and accepted as you are. I will support you in a non-jugemental way to make sense of what you are experiencing and work with you to find out what is causing these feelings and help you take back control of your life.

Through our work together, I will support you to build a more trusting and compassionate relationship with yourself, build self-esteem, find new ways of coping, make long lasting changes and start moving forward with your life.

Practice description

Making the decision to seek support can be difficult and choosing a counsellor can feel overwhelming. I offer a free 15 min telephone/online video consultation where we can discuss your counselling needs and gives you a chance to ask any questions you may have before you decide to start therapy.
