About me and my therapy practice

I am a Kent based Integrative Counsellor with a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I am registered with the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) the largest professional body for Counsellors and Psychotherapists in the UK. My practice complies with the BACP’s stringent ethical and professional guidelines. I have full DBS (CRB) Certification, professional indemnity insurance.

As part of my training, I have worked for Walk Tall charity supporting clients with various issues including grief, depression, anxiety and low self-esteem. I work with different modalities based on the client needs, including psychodynamic, humanistic and cognitive behavioural theories.

I am experienced in working with a range of ages; from teenagers and young people up to adults. I currently work with complex mental health needs and Special Educational Needs in alternative provisions dealing with complex trauma, mental health and emotional resilience.

I am able to develop trusting relationships during the counselling process to enhance the clients knowledge of self and to develop positive changes to support organic growth and mindset.
