About me and my therapy practice

"George has been the best and most helpful therapist I've worked with. From the very start, he understood my specific situation and my individual needs. He built an approach that felt tailored to me and he's been open, constructive and supportive in every session since. I would really recommend him and his style" Andrew, January 2021

What I do?

I offer a safe space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings freely, without judgement. We will work together to help you tackle the areas of your life that aren’t working for you at the moment. I will work to support you to take tangible steps to gain a greater understanding of yourself.

My practice is at Kite studios, W12. I offer a bespoke service to my clients, tailoring each session to their needs. My safe space allows clients to be themselves and embark on a therapeutic journey. Everyone has the capacity to fulfil their potential through working with the right therapist. ( After an initial free phone consultation lasting between ten to fifteen minutes we can decide if you would like to proceed. If so after our first session, you can then decide if I’m the right one for you.)

"I sought help from George and felt immediately understood. He helped me put words to what I was feeling and taught me concrete strategies to deal with my life. The sessions with George have helped me make tremendous changes in my life such as quitting a horrible job and starting my own business. I would never have had the courage or determination to do this without George’s patience" Celine, June 2021

I have worked with a broad variety of clients including:

Relationship difficulties

Domestic violence

Low self-esteem

Career-driven difficulties

Terminal illness

Feeling lost or stuck in life

Practice description

How I do it

I draw from a range of theories that consists of a number of different modalities. This makes me a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor. I’m also a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. As a therapist my work follows the BACP ethical guidelines. I am therefore bound by confidentiality and dedicated to the well-being of my clients.

As well as my therapeutic training I have a deep interest in mindfulness, music and meditation. Through these interests I have enjoyed gaining an understanding of how the body and the mind interact and affect each other.

I provide my clients with a safe space to reflect and better understand the challenges that face them. I believe everyone has the capacity to realise their own potential, to feel they are enjoying life and to find some inner contentment. I am fully committed to helping you find yours.
