About me and my therapy practice
Would you like to change the way that you live your life? I am a qualified and accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with experience of working with issues such as anxiety, depression and anger management, and I can help you to overcome your problems in an accepting, confidential and non-judgemental environment. I charge £50 per session and can provide face to face, phone or video call sessions. I am LGBT+ friendly.
We all need help during difficult times. A lot of people feel anxious, unhappy, overwhelmed or stressed out at some point and find that they need a bit of support. Coming to therapy allows you to talk over your problems and to work out how you can make the changes that you would like to see in your life.
Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) involves looking at how your thoughts, emotions and behaviour are connected, and then breaking the cycles of negative thoughts and behaviour to bring about lasting change. By using CBT methods I can help you to achieve your goals, overcome your problems and see things differently.
A course of CBT normally lasts for between six and ten sessions, although this can vary. We would agree to an ending when you feel that you have achieved your goals and dealt with the problems that brought you to therapy. Sessions would normally be every week but I am flexible regarding the frequency of appointments.

My first session
In the first session we would look at what has brought you to therapy. We would also look at the changes that you would like to make and the goals that you would like to work towards.
