About me and my therapy practice
Spring is hopefully on its way, bringing new growth and fresh hope. Perhaps you are also ready for a change, a fresh start. As we face this uncertain future, you may be finding old anxieties resurfacing, mixing with new worries, an increased feeling that you are struggling to cope – life can be overwhelming. Anxiety, anger, depression, loneliness, self-harming, panic attacks – these are all normal reactions to stressful situations. Whatever your reason for clicking on this link, you don’t have to face your feelings alone. I would like to help you discover a more positive future.
My name is Annie and I am not here to judge you. I will listen and hear you. My focus is on being able to build a genuine relationship in which you feel comfortable enough to explore what you want and who you are. I would like to help you figure out a way to make your life better. If you are a parent, worried about your child, this all applies to children too.
Asking for help takes courage and I will do my best to make things as easy as possible for you once you have taken the leap.
I am a fully qualified, person-centred counsellor, which means that you decide what you want to bring to each session, and we move forward together from that point.
I work with adults, students, young people and children from a variety of different backgrounds and with a rainbow of individual needs (including SEN). I hope to be able to meet with you soon.
Children £25, Students/16+ £35, Adults £50
I work from home. I am available for face to face sessions, I also working online via Zoom. I find both types of interaction work really well. Please contact me for details.
My first session
In the first session, we will go through my client contract which covers some of the boundaries around working together. I will also get some personal details from you. After that, it is over to you - why have you come for counselling and what do you hope to achieve. We will establish whether we think we can work together and look at how we should move forward from this point.
