About me and my therapy practice
Through counselling I can help you to work through psychological and emotional problems, finding ways to manage difficult situations in your life and improve your sense of well-being.It may be a specific situation that brings you to counselling, a sad or troubling event, or it may be that life seems overwhelmingly difficult and out of control. I can help you to explore difficult issues, finding ways to understand and overcome the emotional distress.
I am a qualified and experienced counsellor and have trained in Humanistic approaches to therapy.This means that I use a range of counselling theories and approaches within my work ensuring that I work with you as a client tailoring our sessions to suit your needs. I strongly believe that no one approach to therapy is the complete solution to working with depression, anxiety and relationship troubles.
I will use whatever is appropriate to you as a client which may incorporate one or more approaches.
