About me and my therapy practice

I am an experienced psychotherapeutic counsellor practising in Epsom, Surrey and online - close to Ashtead, Banstead, Ewell, Epsom Downs, Tattenham Corner and Tadworth.

I work with individual adults (18+) and couples offering short-term, medium-term and open-ended therapy depending on what you would like to get out of our work together.

I offer a confidential, empathic space to reflect upon and gain insight into issues that are affecting you. These issues may be the result of everyday stresses, or as a result of specific events in life, which may have occurred in childhood.

Couples therapy provides a space to explore difficulties experienced within your relationship. Our work would be focused on your relationship and offer the opportunity of identifying and learning about how you relate to each other and identify repetitive behaviours that may feel dissatisfying. I will support and work collaboratively with you to identify how to step into a more fulfilling space within your relationship.

If you are interested in exploring what it might be like to work with me as your counsellor, please do get in touch. We can arrange an initial session to get to know each other and find out whether the therapy I offer would be useful to you.

I believe strongly that therapy is a two-way process between client and therapist.

Practice description

Fees per session

£60.00 per 50-minute session for individuals.

£80.00 per 60-minute session for couples.

My first session

Thinking about starting therapy might be daunting and you might wonder what to expect from the first session.

Essentially it gives you the chance to see whether we would work well together. You may choose to say what brings you to therapy. I usually explain my approach to therapy and do my best to answer any questions you may have. I will also ask some questions about you, what brings you to therapy and what your initial worries are.

At the end of the first session we can agree to work together, or you may choose to think things over in your own time.
