About me and my therapy practice
Over the years I have noticed that many clients come to therapy experiencing confusion, inner conflict, unwanted emotions, not quite knowing where the problem lies. I see my role to jointly untangle these unhelpful feelings thoughts and issues with the aim of finding clarity and inner peace. I am open to discussing anything which is troubling you. I value diversity.
I trained using a variety of different approaches according to what is appropriate for a particular client at a particular time. But above all I aim to create a safe counselling space and to build a trusting relationship.
I have experience in a wide range of concerns including: relationship issues, abuse and neglect, living with illness, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, bereavement (including by suicide and murder) and loss (including pet loss), self-harm, adjustment to older age.
I have an interest in pain and how we carry it in our bodies.
