About me and my therapy practice
Whatever brings you to counselling, I will aim to help you feel valued, heard and understood. I can help you to identify the challenges you are experiencing, discover ways to cope and to move forward in meaningful ways.
I see my role as empowering you to heal, rediscover your strengths and increase your ability to trust yourself. I will value you as a unique, complex individual who brings with you all of your experiences, hurts, worries and desires. Together, we will work collaboratively and with care, to help you achieve what you want from the therapeutic process.
My particular expertise is with working with losses, low self esteem, bereavements and life transitions of all kinds. Whilst I think that it is important that I provide you with a sense of the types of issues I have the most experience working with, it is important to me to also say that I am interested to get to know you as a unique, multi-faceted individual. I believe that everyone is far more than the intersections of their lived experiences.
