About me and my therapy practice
I’m a warm, open and empathic person-centred counsellor offering therapy for adults. I work from rooms in Cheadle, Cheshire where you will find a welcoming, safe, caring environment in which you can explore and reflect on the issues that are troubling you, without judgement. I also offer online counselling.
As a person-centred counsellor the therapy I provide is non-directive. My role is not to guide you or tell you what to do but I will be alongside you as you gain a deeper understanding of yourself. I will treat you as an individual and without pre-judgment. I appreciate the uniqueness of every client’s experience and by challenging gently and with compassion I will support you in finding your way and understanding what you want to change or achieve.
Practice description
Life events can be tough to work through, past issues can raise ongoing difficulties, the workplace and relationships can be demanding and challenging. This is where counselling can help, providing space for you, a time to talk, be listened to and to reflect.
If you are feeling anxious, depressed, lonely or confused counselling may help.
My first session
I offer each new client an initial fifteen minute consultation (via Zoom) without charge. During this session we will discuss the counselling process and how this aligns with your needs to enable you to see if you feel counselling would help you and that you are comfortable working with me.
Subsequent fifty minute sessions are charged at £45 for online sessions via Zoom or £50 face to face.
