About me and my therapy practice
The world likes to try and tell us who we are and what we should be doing by putting us into boxes and trying to get us to conform to labels. A lot of life's problems come from when we don't feel like we belong in those boxes or that we don't fit those labels. We can struggle to see what choices we can make and what direction we should take in life. Therapy is an opportunity to help you understand who you are, who you want to be, and how you can move towards that possibility.
I work Existentially, which means that I offer a philosophical approach to therapy which aims to tackle important questions about who we are, our choices, and our meaning in life. This approach seeks to get a close understanding of your experiences so that you can be heard and understood.
I offer a safe space in which to open up this understanding of who you are; free from judgement, and free from labels. It is your time and space to uncover who you are, who you want to be and how you could accomplish this. I have been practicing since 2015 and have worked extensively with child abuse, abuse, trauma, anxiety, and men's issues.
I am currently working online and over the telephone due to the Covid outbreak.
My first session
I offer an initial introductory session to find out what brought you to seek therapy and what you would wish from therapy. This introductory session is an hour long and is priced at £25. If after this introductory session it is agreed that you would like us to work together then we will arrange for a suitable time and day to begin therapy sessions.
