About me and my therapy practice
Face-to-Face, Telephone, Online.
Based in Formby. I offer 1:2:1 person-centred/solution focused counselling and I am based in the centre of Formby (near Ormskirk, Southport and Crosby) am accredited with BACP and registered with BUPA.
I qualified in 2010 and have experience of working in both private and voluntary sectors before opening my private practice.
I have BA (Hons) in Counselling and my work experience includes working in: Social Services, Domestic Violence and Palliative Care with my last role managing a busy counselling team whilst providing emotional support to patients and their families with end of life and into bereavement.
My private practice offers a safe space to explore and work through issues that may have become overwhelming to manage, at a pace that suits you.
I work with a variety of private and professional referrals including the MET Police, Victim Support and Employment Assistance Programmes. I work full-time Mon-Friday with a few evening appointments available.
I am also a registered wellbeing practitioner of the FHT/ Kinesiology Assoc and offer a range of well-being therapies.

My first session
First sessions can seem daunting so my aim is to put clients at ease with a warm welcome, introduce myself and explain about the counselling I offer with regards to boundaries, confidentiality etc and answer any questions you may have about the counselling process.Types of therapy
