About me and my therapy practice

I offer 1:2:1 person-centred/solution focused counselling and I am based in East Leake outside Loughborough/South Nottingham and am registered with BUPA.  I qualified in 2010 and have experience of working in both private and voluntary sectors before opening my private practice.

I have BA (Hons) in Counselling and my work experience includes working in: Social Services 11 yrs, Domestic Violence IWA 10 yrs and Palliative Care 4 years with my last role managing a busy counselling team whilst providing emotional support to patients and their families with end of life and into bereavement.

My private practice offers a safe space to explore and work through issues that may have become overwhelming to manage, at a pace that suits you.

I work part of the week with Met Police and other professional referrals through Employment Assistance Programmes working full time and flexibly with clients with shift patterns.

I am also registered with FHT and offer well-being and relaxation therapies: reflexology, nutrition and kinesiology muscle testing, for full details www.body-balancing.co.uk

Stress, life changes, bereavements, divorce, addictions, trauma, family/relationship and workplace difficulties can all contribute to low moods, increased anxiety, and loss of energy, focus and motivation. I am dementia aware and trained.

Counselling provides a confidential space and time to talk, where you can begin to feel supported and heard, and gain the self insight you need to help you to move forward.

I respond promptly to all enquiries and am happy to answer any questions you may have.

Parking available. EDBS checked. Concessions for students.
