About me and my therapy practice
Sometimes it feels difficult to let something go, it is always there, casting a shadow over everything that you do. Perhaps you have a sense that something is not right, but you are not sure what it is? Counselling offers a space to explore your feelings. Only you know how it really feels to be you, but that doesn't mean you have to be alone with your feelings. To be listened to, without judgement or advice, is a key starting point in therapy. Talking about whatever issues you face offers a fresh perspective and an increased awareness of what they mean for you. This awareness is what enables change.
My aim is to provide a safe, comfortable environment where you can explore your issues at a deeper level. I have worked with clients with a range of issues, relationships, low self-esteem, anxiety and depression. I work with adults, young people and children.
I work in a non-judgemental way, at a pace that suits you. I like to work creatively with each client to find the most effective way to enable change and growth. Taking the first step might feel hard, so I'd be happy to have a chat by email or phone, to answer any questions you may have.
