About me and my therapy practice

Working online with Zoom at this present time

If you would like to consider talking through issues you are experiencing, I offer an initial appointment free of charge.

This may be by telephone or on Zoom and is an opportunity for you to try out counselling in this way. It is also for us to introduce ourselves and decide if we would like to work together. I believe it is very important that there is a comfortable working relationship between client and counsellor.

Do you feel it would be helpful to have a place to reflect on issues you are experiencing? I am a BACP registered integrative counsellor and my aim is to provide a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings.

My counselling philosophy is that if we can understand why we feel a certain way, then we can start to think about whether and how we might like to make change.

At any moment in time, life may throw us a curved ball. If you have been on the receiving end of that curved ball and are feeling vulnerable, sad, or confused or anything else, then you may find talking in a therapeutic environment provides you with some support.

My experience is mainly in providing counselling to people suffering from anxiety, panic, loss, bereavement, abuse, low self-esteem, anger and shame.

I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor and have a special interest and training in Transactional Analysis.

In addition to my private practice, I also hold a voluntary counselling position within the NHS.

My first session

I offer an initial 20 minute phone call free of charge for you for us to introduce ourselves to each other and an opportunity to decide whether we feel we could work together. I believe it is very important that there is a comfortable working relationship between client and counsellor.
