About me and my therapy practice

Are you having trouble coming to terms with a loss? Whether that is a loss of a loved one, loss of health, redundancy, relationship or your own self. Perhaps you having difficulty grieving or feel unable to move forward. Or are you struggling with stress and anxiety and depression due to changes in your life?

I work with people just like you. Using both my professional and personal experience to help and guide you to a way out of the sadness or difficulties. To accept the changes and move forward to become your true self.  

Practice description

I have experience of working within the NHS and a local council children's centre (with parents) offering both short term and long term counselling for a variety of issues such as bereavement, chronic and long term illness, stress, depression and anxiety.

I also work with local businesses and a construction industry charity in a short term therapy capacity. 

Being a qualified, registered member of the BACP, I work within their ethical framework and guideline's to ensure I work in the right and safest way for my clients.

Having gained qualifications in working online and phone, I can offer a broad range of working to suit you and your lifestyle.  

I have personal experience with chronic illness so feel that I can offer the support and empathic understanding to work with this issue and all it brings to life.

I also have experience working with mid life difficulties such as menopause, empty nest and retirement.

My first session

Our fist session together will be a brief overview of the information we would have already discussed during our telephone assessment and subsequent information email.  I will offer you a chance to ask any questions you may have and look at the focus of your therapy.  I will always make sure we are using the time valuably as I know how precious it can be.
