About me and my therapy practice
As a qualified Counsellor I understand that both internal and external issues create a uniquely experienced psychological distress that can benefit from exploration between counsellor/client or from the support of a group.
As a qualified Clinical Supervisor I understand that supervision provides an essential space for exploring client work, ensuring ethical issues are kept in the frame and supporting personally relevant material to be examined safely.
I have over eleven years experience providing brief and long-term individual counselling, telephone, email and Skype support as well as facilitating local and national support groups.
Whilst my training is grounded in Person Centered theory, my studies include Cognitive Behavioural (CBT), Object Relations/ Psychodynamic, Gestalt and Existential models. My qualifications and memberships include BA (Hons) Counselling, Diploma Clinical Supervision and Consultancy, Primary Certificate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and is a registered Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.

About me and my therapy practice
I am experienced at delivering both in-house and external training.
As Director of HoardingUK I have designed and delivered one hour, two-hour, half day, one day and two day training to professionals and services users.
HoardingUK also delivers talks, attends support groups and promotes wellbeing throughout the mental health community.
At VoiceAbility, I have been given the Citizen Advocacy training as a project. This has involved designing and delivering a six month service user advocacy training programme.
Alongside this I have also developed Assertiveness Training for people who have used mental health services.
My roles have included awareness raising information days on Self Directed Support (SDS) for Mind in Tower Hamlets and Newham.
I have also delivered external training to professionals and Service Users about Obsessive Compulsive Disorder during my work with OCD Action. At OCD Action designed and delivered the first in-house training programme in the charities fourteen year history. This training included University placement students, professionals, service users and volunteers.
Whether working collaboratively with B-eat; having a translated dialogue with AFTOC (French OCD Charity Conference); addressing 600 people at the Brent Service User Group conference; attending local and national groups; speaking at the University of Glasgow or Kent/Medway Trust, I have delivered vibrant, interactive, awareness raising training.
