About me and my therapy practice
Would you like to try Walk & Talk Therapy in a picturesque outdoor setting? or prefer a private room? The way that I work is that I listen to your story, ask questions and try to understand what is important for you. My aim is to try to get a picture of how you feel in your life and in your interactions with people. I believe that feeling heard is incredibly healing and that there is immense benefit in having a time where we can regroup and repair. Being offered the opportunity to work with you is something I take very seriously in terms of privacy, confidentiality, punctuality, reliability, clinical supervision, focus and respect.
I like to bring a solution-focused approach to counselling. I offer help and support to enable you to make the changes you hope for. Sometimes you may not know what these changes should be. This is not always easy and I understand this. We will work towards to the mind-set that you wish to have. I will be with you as you make the changes you wish to see.
My first session
If you decide to enter into therapy with me, we will find a regular time each week to meet. The sessions are 50 minutes long. We can speak while walking together, or in a private therapy room. If you would like to talk about starting counselling, you are welcome to email me to arrange a free 15 minute telephone consultation.
