Availability

My therapy sessions are 50 minutes long and are either face to face, telephone or on-line.

My practice is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 8am and 2pm.

You may also find it helpful to leave space in your diary after each session for some me time, just to reflect and be kind to yourself. I advise not rushing off into a meeting or kid pick-up. Of course I understand that this is not always possible.

About me and my therapy practice

With me, you have a trust worthy and confidential counsellor, without judgements or prejudices, solely placing you at the centre of the process, where you belong.

There is no instruction manual on what to do as a client in counselling, it can support you in navigating your situation and feelings and when you're ready assist you in finding a way.

You may be anxious and unsure of the direction of your life, maybe you feel something is missing, have suffered a bereavement, are overwhelmed by anxiety or you just don't feel like yourself. Counselling can help.

You can just use the space to tell me whatever is in your head.

It is not always comfortable and can be challenging, it is your story and although I encourage you to share, it is of course for you to feel comfortable to do that.

About me

My work is integrative, working with Person Centered Therapy (here and now) and Psychodynamic (your past, the visible and the invisible).

As well as a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and specialist bereavement training from a local hospice, I have a wealth of experience working with individuals over the previous 6 years. I also have trained with SANDs (baby loss), read and attend CPD on suicide and have completed training on End of Life Therapy.

Reflecting, linking and hearing yourself talk, uninhibited, is powerful therapy.

If I am not the therapist for you, I wish you all the very best in your search and journey.
