About me and my therapy practice
Hello, if you are considering starting therapy, finding the therapist that is right for you is key. I work by offering a safe yet curious relationship with you, free of judgment, that can allow you to explore your thoughts and feelings in depth. This way we can work through what’s troubling you.
I offer short term or longer term sessions by phone or Zoom daytimes and evenings. I also consider home visits. Get in touch if you’d like a free 15 minute initial consultation to find out how I could help you.
My training is integrative, principally in the Person-Centred and Pychodynamic models. This means you will be front and centre of the therapy we do. Where appropriate, I also draw on training in Attachment Theory and working with the arts to work creatively with you to deepen self awareness.
My first session
In our first session I will ask you what has brought you to therapy and talk through your hopes and expectations for our work together. I will set out the way I work and we will make an agreement between us to ensure that you are comfortable to continue, knowing that your sessions are confidential and safe.
