I am flexible and open to support shift workers and offer weekly, fortnightly and monthly sessions. I offer morning, afternoon and evening slots on different days of the week, please enquire for further information.

About me and my therapy practice

A warm welcome.

I am qualified integrative counsellor and have experience in working with a variety of issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and relationship problems. I am passionate about supporting autistic and ADHD clients and regularly work with this client group. I can help you to understand and make sense of your feelings and relationships, explore your potential and strengths, and support you to move forward in your life.

I offer a confidential space in which you will be heard and embraced as the person you are whilst exploring who you want to be. I am an integrative counsellor which means I draw from different theories and skill sets as I believe it is essential that the therapy is right for you and what you need.

I will be led by you. You are in charge to go at your own pace. I will provide a safe and welcoming space for you to understand yourself and your relationships better, explore your options and support you in making your own choices and decisions to implement positive changes in your life.

Practice description

My specialism lies in supporting ADHD and autistic clients and I have extensive experience and training in this area. I also work regularly with trauma, anxiety, identity and relationship issues.

I work relational, which means I believe the therapeutic relationship is an important foundation to develop a space to grow and change. In sessions with me, you will be heard, accepted and not judged for who you are. I want to get to know you and hear your story as well as your dreams, goals, hopes and aspirations.

I aim to make my practice accessible and inclusive, adapting sessions to my clients' needs and choices. We will work together collaboratively, go at your speed and you will be in charge of what you want explore.

Fees:

For in person, online and on the phone. Sessions are 50 mins long.

Individual sessions from £55 for adults (+18)

I offer sessions at £45 to counselling students and trainee counsellors.

My first session

It can be difficult to admit that you are not doing well and life is challenging. It can be hard to reach out. We all sometimes need support and contacting a stranger for help might feel a big leap but do reach out, please speak to someone.

Feel free to contact me to see if we could work together. I offer a free 15 - 25 mins initial chat (phone or online) to get to know each other and to see if we connect. It will be an opportunity for you to ask questions and I will ask you some too, so I can ensure I'm the right support for you and can give you what you need.

About me and my therapy practice

I offer compassionate and professional supervision where you will be supported in your practice and client work; whilst being positively challenged and encouraged to develop and grow as a professional and ethical counsellor.

I have a specialism in supporting ADHD and autistic individuals and often work with this client group. I have extensive training in this area and also have facilitated ADHD and autism awareness training for fellow counsellors. I often work with neurodivergent supervisees as well as counsellor who are looking for support in working with this specific client group. 

I have worked with a variety of client issues, especially trauma, anxiety, identity and relationship problems. I engage in regular CPD training and my own supervision of supervision. Additionally, I teach the CPCAB level 3 at a college. 

I offer supervision to qualified and trainee counsellors.

Practice description

Together we will aim develop a supportive and collaborative supervisory relationship with acknowledgment of each other’s responsibilities, the purpose of the supervision process and your specific needs as a supervisee.

We both will aspire to communicate openly and transparently in a respectful manner. We will aim to work together collaboratively, regularly reviewing our working agreement and supervisory relationship as well as share any difficulties and dissatisfactions regarding the supervision process.

I am committed to develop a safe reflective learning space with you in which you are able to explore and grow as a counsellor and work ethically and safely in the best interest of your clients. 

I require from my supervisees to have membership of a professional ethical body and adhere to its framework and guidelines regarding safe practice and CPD.
