I appreciate how challenging the current circumstances are for everyone and I wanted to reassure you that the safety and wellbeing of my clients and myself is of great importance.

I am offer sessions online and face to face sessions from a room close to the Basingstoke Town Centre .

Online counselling does  enable us, as much as is possible, to recreate the experience of a face to face session.   I understand that this way of talking might be new to you, especially for counselling sessions and that you may have some questions.  I have more information on my website, which may give you the information you are looking for to help you decide.  Or, I'd be happy to have an initial telephone conversation with you.

About me and my therapy practice

I am a registered counsellor with experience of helping people with a wide range of issues.

First of all, I feel it is important to acknowledge that during our life we all go through difficult times. You may be struggling at the moment and wondering how to cope. Your difficulties may be related to a specific life event, or perhaps you are experiencing a more general sense of unease, feeling stuck, lost or overwhelmed.

I am very much committed to helping my clients find a way of working through whatever concerns are troubling them in order that they can achieve a better quality of life for themselves.  I am here to lend you some hope until you are able to find your own.

I practice a Integrative approach to counselling and core to this is providing you with an empathetic non-judgmental space to explore and make changes to your life. We can get to know ourselves better through counselling which can help us to make more helpful choices about our life. I hold the belief that if a person has a problem, they also have the answer.

Reading this indicates, you have made the first steps to making some positive changes in your life. If this sounds like something you'd benefit from and would like to do, please contact me to arrange an initial consultation

My first session

I like to think of the initial session as one where we can explore together what counselling is and how what I offer may be able to help you.  It is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have.  Towards the end of the session, we can talk about whether this is something you want to go ahead with, or not.  There is absolutely no obligation to take it forward.  Its for this reason that I like to offer a discounted rate of £30.

Like regular sessions, this session would be 50 minutes long.  For online sessions where privacy is important, I ask that clients find a space where they can talk freely without being overheard.
