I currently have availability in my practice for online counselling sessions. These can be either online sessions or telephone. I have availability on a Monday Tuesday Thursday and Friday morning and can also accommodate some weekend mornings on request. I will work with a client to find a time that will suit. I can also offer face to face counselling sessions on a Thursday or Friday.
About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified integrative counsellor. I work with clients on a many issues, such as depression, anxiety, anger, stress among other day to day stresses that life can bring to us. I realise how reaching out to speak to a therapist can be daunting so I will try and make it as easy for you as possible.
My ethos as your therapist is to offer a warm and empathic ienvironment where you can feel comfortable and that we can collaboratively work together so that you can receive the treatment that you feel need. Everyone should be able to talk freely about what their issues are and this is what I offer which is a safe and non-judgemental place.
I am an integrative counsellor which simply put means that I can use different counselling theories for example psychodynamic therapy, humanistic therapy and cognitive behaviour therapy. This simply put means that as we work together I can draw on the theory that suits each individual client. We will work together to decide which theory works best for them. At any time the client can decide what is working for them and what isn't.
In my practice I feel that building a trusting therapeutic counselling relationship is key to helping the client move forward with hope. This is an important factor so that the client knows that their well being and goals are at the heart of the work we do.
My first session
I offer the first consultation at a discounted rate. In this first session it will give us the opportunity to get to know each other and will give the client the time to talk about what has brought them to the counselling session.
