I offer flexibility in order to work around something that suits both myself and you as a supervisee.

About me and my therapy practice

I trained as an integrative supervisor and believe that good supervision is all about the relationship between supervisor and supervisee.

I offer integrative supervision for trainees and qualified counsellors, and professionals working within the caring professions. I offer clinical supervision, reflecting on client work, personal and professional development, ethics, work with several modalities and use the supervision triangle as part of my way of working ethically to the best interests of your clients and yourself as a supervisee.

Sessions of clinical supervision are attended for at least 1.5 hrs on a regular monthly basis as per the BACP ethical framework for the counselling professions.

Supervision is often used to support you with difficulties you may be experiencing with clients, and to help you identify blind spots. However, I think there is so much more to supervision than this. With the right supervisor, you should feel supported and be able to grow both personally and professionally. For me supervision is a vital part of our personal and professional development, it’s about building a strong and positive relationship. Supervision is an integral part of counselling, it is important to find the right supervisor for you. The most important area is the relationship between the supervisee and supervisor. This relationship should be built on trust and honesty. There are times when we all struggle with things in the counselling room, this is where the right supervisor can help you explore this in a non-judgemental way.

My approach to supervision is tailored to supervisees needs, there is always something new to learn and discover I am keen to share my experiences to develop the experience of fellow counsellors and therapists.
