About me and my therapy practice

Over the last 20 years, I have worked in a variety of mental health settings including forensic, addictions and general psychiatry (specialising in eating disorders).  As well as working in the private sector, I have worked in the NHS and within a GP setting - in both long and short term work. I have worked within a charitable setting with many forms of psychological issues.  I have worked in private practice for over 9 years, working with individuals and couples.  

I do work for Employee Assistance Programmes for specific insurance companies, as well as on the registered lists of AXA/PPP and AVIVA.  

I have sat on the Conference Committee of BAPPS (British Association for Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic Supervision).  I have also taught at Clinical Diploma Level within a BACP Accredited organization and am the Independent Advisor to Felsted School.  

I supervise students and counsellors/therapists.

I supervise students/counsellors. I work for Employee Assistance Programmes and have taught at Clinical Diploma Level. I am the Independent Advisor to Felsted School and on the Conference Committee of BAPPS (British Association for Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic Supervision).     

I am also a member of B-eat (Beating Eating Disorders).  

I have experience of group supervision as well as ongoing 1:1 supervision of students and qualified counsellors/therapists.
