About me and my therapy practice

I am a Chartered Psychologist offering private counselling and psychotherapy in Central London as well as Online.

How I work:

Collaborative and integrative approach: I tailor my work to your needs and preferences, integrating different techniques and theoretical approaches.

Focused on your goals: Our work together is always informed by what you believe is most important to work on.

Structured and with a sense of purpose: We have a clear purpose for our work together, with regular reviews to assess how we are working towards your goals.

Safe, confidential and welcoming space: Sometimes, our difficulties may feel daunting to talk about with others and attached to feelings of shame or embarrassment. I can offer a safe, confidential and welcoming space where whatever you bring to therapy can be discussed openly and managed without fear of judgement.

Practice description

My practice is integrative, meaning I have trained in multiple therapeutic approaches, including:

  • Person-centred therapy
  • Psychodynamic therapy
  • Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

When working with clients, I tailor my work to their needs and preferences, drawing on different approaches and theories.

I have experience working with a wide range of presenting issues in a variety of settings, including NHS secondary care, mental health charities and services specialising in gambling addiction, trauma and sexual health.

My first session

Our first session together is an assessment session, where we will explore what brings you to therapy, what you are hoping to gain from therapy and how we might start addressing this in our work together.

This initial session is also for you to assess whether you would like to continue working with me. Once the session is finished, I will ask you to take some time to think about how you felt about the session and whether you would like to continue working with me.

All sessions with me last 50 minutes each, including the assessment session. In order to book an assessment session, please get in touch using the contact details provided on this page.
