About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced integrative psychotherapist and member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).
I work by the BACP Ethical Framework and offer a professional and confidential service to help couples to explore their problems, experiences, thoughts and feelings in a safe environment.
In my experience therapy is most effective if combined with alternative techniques to provide a more holistic experience, therefore I utilize mindfulness, focusing and breathwork as well. The therapy is tailored to your individual needs.
Practice description
Relationships are the outcome of a series of interactions between two people. Problems in the relationship might indicate breakdown in communication, disagreements, intimacy issues, or unresolved conflicts. The goal of couple`s therapy is to improve communication, promote strengths, decrease emotional avoidance, modify dysfunctional dynamics, and change the perspectives on the relationship. During therapy we would be looking at the context of the relationship, the strengths and weaknesses, the dysfunctional patterns, the level of emotional avoidance, how the parties communicate with each other and handle conflicts, how intimacy is expressed, and identifying ways of improving all this.
For best outcome, I would recommend F2F therapy, however, in some cases online therapy can also be effective. Please contact me to discuss.
