About me and my therapy practice
My approach is supportive, compassionate, and non-judgmental. I am a trained Pluralistic therapist, meaning that I understand that there is no ‘one size fits all ‘solution. Different people need different approaches at different times. My wide training means that I can work collaboratively and flexibly with you to co-create a space to discover what may be helpful and meaningful for you now. We will do this by exploring options from different types of therapy, based on your needs and preferences, drawing on our combined knowledge and life experience.
Training, qualifications & experience:
MSc with Distinction: Pluralistic Psychotherapy - Abertay University
BSc Health Studies - Napier University
As well as private practice, I work in a counselling charity 1.5 days a week, where I see both young adults (18-25 years old) as well as older adults. Before becoming a counsellor, I had over 25 years’ experience working in the health sector.
