About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced counsellor, here to help you through difficult times and to offer support with stress, anxiety, depression, loss and relationship difficulties. I offer a confidential non-judgmental space for you to share your concerns and be listened to with warmth as we work together towards deeper acceptance, self-awareness and self-love as your story and process unfold.
If you need some support to deal with emotional pain or difficulty, to look at how you are in your relationships, or find a way of coping better, counselling may be helpful. In this role I can enable you to reach a clearer understanding about yourself and your life, improve your sense of self-worth and support you in becoming kinder towards yourself and growing into your potential. I bring sensitivity and clarity to focus on you, your past, present and future.
I offer insights and support with warmth and compassion, drawing from my in depth training, from over 12 years' experience as a counsellor and from my own rich and varied journey through life.
I have worked in a variety of settings in business and in charities as well as being in private practice.
I work with a variety of counselling models and techniques, exploring what works for you, on both a long-term and short-term basis. I also have 25 years' experience in mindfulness and I can offer this alongside counselling if you would like to try this - it can be especially effective in helping with depression, stress and anxiety (health anxiety for example). I am on the UK Listing of Mindfulness Teachers.
I am currently offering online sessions only during lockdown, but once this is eased I will be seeing clients again at my home in Forest Row.
My first session
I offer a 30 minutes Zoom call free of charge before you decide whether you would like to go ahead and book further sessions.
