About me and my therapy practice

I am currently available offering online sessions through Zoom during the day/evening. Sessions cost £55 for individuals/£75 for couples.

About me: Do you feel overwhelmed, stressed or anxious? I am an experienced, qualified, MBACP-registered integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, working at the Priory, Woking and offering sessions in Guildford. I am here to help give you the tools to deal with parts of your life that may feel too much.

I work on both a short or long term basis depending on your needs and whats best for you, and offer appointments to adults and young people who are 16+ and couples who are 18+.

If you are a couple and you feel you are at breaking point, I can help identify barriers to communication and begin to implement strategies for change in your relationship. Together we can work towards creating a happier and healthier relationship, or to help you decide to end the relationship in as amicable way as possible.

My website has further information about me and my services: www.FMC-AND-P.CO.UK

How we would work together: During our sessions you will be free to speak openly in a space where you'll be supported and heard. Most importantly the space is a safe and confidential one in which you wont be judged. Together we can explore your feelings and behaviours, and reflect on your relationships and life, at a pace that suits you.

Practice description

Being able to talk about what is troubling you can be very hard, however, sometimes life can be difficult to manage on your own. Counselling can help during these difficult and often painful times. Talking helps; I will work with you to help you find a way through. I offer therapy sessions for a variety of life challenges and difficulties including:

- Addictions (drugs, alcohol, food, sex, love, gambling),

- Anxiety, depression, low self esteem and panic attacks,

- Financial issues,

- Abuse,

- Relationship/family issues,

- Divorce/separation,

- Affairs/betrayals,

- Infertility and miscarriage.

I work using a variety of therapy methods and we can work together to find the right method for you.  CBT is especially useful for depression, anxiety and OCD and can generally offer symptom relief in 10-15 sessions. If a GP has mentioned that CBT may be beneficial to you, please get in touch to arrange an appointment or a 15 minute chat.

I offer psychodynamic psychotherapy, in which I will help you to explore your past, current or future concerns, and combine this with a person centred approach which will look at your life as it is today, and how the past may be affecting that. Together we can work at finding the right path for you to move forward.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and am bound by their Ethical Framework for Good Practice.
