About me and my therapy practice

Seeking therapy can be daunting, especially for the first time. Some people do so because of a specific issue or concern, while other can't quite put their finger on what troubles them, but just feel something isn't right and they could use support.

Therapy is a way to look at things from different perspectives. Its aim is to find the connection between what happens within you and the effects it has in your life. I believe that the core of my role is to foster your own curiosity and interest in yourself.

No two people are the same: I make it my objective to learn about your unique experience and how this informs your life and your process now. My approach draws from different theories of therapy, with the intention of adapting my perspective to what most benefits the unique individual I am working with.

La decisione di vedere uno psicoterapista può intimidire, specie dato che viene ancora molto spesso associata con seri problemi psichiatrici o considerata approprata solo per chi ha vissuto gravi traumi. I momenti o le aree di difficoltà, però, sono esperienze che accomunano tutti: è importante riconoscere i momenti in cui possiamo trarre beneficio da un aiuto esterno, come è importante non interpretare tale aiuto come un lusso a cui non abbiamo diritto. In momenti di stress, preoccupazione o malessere, la terapia può essere di supporto.

 Il terapista è una figura abituata ad ascoltare senza dare giudizi, aiutando il cliente ad ampliare le proprie prospettive e facilitare i cambiamenti di cui abbiamo bisogno.

Ogni indiviuo è unico: con ognuno dei miei clienti il mio obiettivo e di imparare a conoscere il suo soggettivo punto di vista sulla propria esperienza e sul modo in cui questa informa le sue scelte e le sue riflessioni.

Practice description

Therapy generally consists of weekly, 50-minute long sessions, taking place in at the same time and in the same place each week. At present I practice exclusively online, with sessions taking place over Zoom.


I am happy to provide a brief phone consultation before arranging a first session.



My first session

The first session is a chance for us to get a sense of each other and of how we might work together. It's an opportunity for you to tell me a what brings you to take the step to start therapy and for me to let you know how I work. It is also a good time for you to ask questions and clarifications necessary for you to choose whether this is the right step for you at this time, and whether you want to undertake it with me.
