About me and my therapy practice

I'm an integrative therapist that uses my sensitivity to adapt my approach in line with the needs of my client, whilst adhering to the ethical and moral boundaries of the BACP professional framework. I work using person-centred conditions to build trusting professional relationships in a genuine way. I use the nuances of relational work to help the client explore more deeply. I will offer reflections and professional observations to challenge, broaden and deepen work.

I believe our past can play a key part in how we interact and negotiate the world in the present. I am attuned to help clients make these connections between their inner and outer worlds that can support them to better understand themselves, their reactions and behaviours when moving forward.

Work is lead at the client's pace, gently nudged and challenged when needed to support clients in making any changes they have outlined.

Practice description

In my private practice I provide long and short term therapy for adults.

I work in person (Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays) and online (Tuesdays and Fridays).

I also hold a post grad diploma in Systemic Family Practice (IAPT Therapy). I have experience in: supporting young people and their families, offering family therapy in schools; facilitating group therapeutic interventions for children and one-to-one counselling; providing parent-child support and individual intervention for young people within the NHS.

Please enquire for my availability for work with parents and young people.

The relationships built between myself and my clients are key. I check in with clients to ensure work remains relevant and useful to them.

My first session

I'm a creative and warm professional that understands how difficult reaching out can be and the importance of feeling able to bring issues and share authentically, in the way that feels safe for you.

I welcome questions or concerns you may have about starting therapy; the way I work; what is expected of us both; practical concerns.

Sessions can either be online (Zoom) or in person. My practice rooms are close to Dalston Kingsland station.

Sessions are 50 minutes each.
