About me and my therapy practice

As a qualified and experienced counsellor I am here to listen, support and help you through the difficulties you or your family might be facing. I offer compassionate, confidential and non-judgmental counselling in a safe space where we can explore the changes you would like to make in your life. Working with adult individuals I have an extensive range of experience and training in many areas including bereavement and loss, P.T.S.D., bullying, abuse, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, phobias, redundancies and work related issues. I offer both long and short term counselling and therapy can be just a few sessions or may continue over several weeks or months. This will depend entirely on your individual requirements and situation. Counselling is therefore tailored to suit your individual needs and I strive to be as flexible as I can as I understand that each individual has different work pressures and personal commitments.

Practice description

I am pleased to be able to offer you counselling in your own home via telephone, Skype, Zoom, WhatsApp or FaceTime. As with face to face counselling, this can be either long or short term (Solution Focused Brief Therapy) and also is tailored to suit your specific and unique needs.

I am closely monitoring the World Health Organisation and local authority guidances in order to maintain the health and wellbeing of my clients and with face to face counselling currently not being advisable, existing clients can continue their sessions either as structured telephone or online video counselling. In these especially trying times we also welcome all new clients and offer you counselling in your own home via video or telephone.

Working to the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) code of ethics I believe that each and every individual is of intrinsic worth. I therefore offer each person unconditional positive regard, empathy, genuineness and respect for you, your values and your personal belief system and offer each individual the highest level of confidentiality.
