About me and my therapy practice
We are living in challenging times. Loss, isolation, stress and anxiety have become increasingly common in our everyday lives. These challenges may have become overwhelming or be impacting on existing issues.
By exploring thoughts and feelings in a calm, supportive space, I can help you gain insight and uncover resources to improve your wellbeing.
I'm a qualified psychotherapist, offering one-to-one therapy to adults. I have worked with a wide range of people to help them better understand themselves, their relationships and their life experiences; learn about their feelings, choices and behaviours and, where appropriate, make changes to their lives.
I work in an open, empathic and non-judgmental way to build a trusting therapeutic relationship from which a process of growth can occur.
Practice description
I offer private, confidential counselling and psychotherapy online, via zoom.
I hold a degree in Psychology (BScHons), a Certificate in Person-Centred Counselling and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy from the University of Leeds.
I practice from a humanistic, integrative perspective, drawing upon a range of theories and models to help understand and explore the issues which may have brought a person to therapy.
I have experience working with adults in many areas and specialise in supporting people struggling with loss, stress, anxiety and depression.
My first session
The first step is to arrange an introductory session, to provide an opportunity to get to know each other, discuss the issues which have brought you to therapy and agree a way forward.
If you have any questions or would like to book an appointment please feel free to message me and I'll get back to you asap.
What I can help with
Anger management, Anxiety, Bereavement, Cultural issues, Depression, Health related issues, Identity issues, Loss, Redundancy, Relationships, Self esteem, Stress, Women's issues, Work related issues
