I understand how important it is to find a therapist you feel comfortable with. I offer a warm, compassionate, confidential and non-judgemental approach: a place to offload, perhaps find coping strategies, fresh insight, and the sense of balance or peace of mind you may seek.

Finding the right therapist is especially important at a time when you may be feeling stuck or alone. You may be dealing with a particular issue, such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, bereavement or loneliness, or feeling more generally overwhelmed.

Personal approach

To help you explore your concerns, I strive always to be empathic, listen without judgment, and to be authentic and sensitive.

In order to make therapy as effective as possible for you, I am trained in more than one method of counselling and psychotherapy, and to blend and tailor those approaches to meet your unique needs and preferences.

Experience

I work one-to-one and by telephone with adults. I have experience working with a wide range of people and issues, including within a West Midlands NHS staff counselling service.

Qualifications include:

Postgraduate Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (with distinction) - BACP accredited course.

BSc (Hons) - The University of Manchester.

The main counselling space is private, comfortable and relaxing. Located in a rural setting, in Little Budworth, Tarporley, it is within easy access of surrounding towns and villages including Chester, Northwich, Winsford, Nantwich, and Frodsham.
