I will treat you with respect, listening and supporting kindly and without criticism  – offering gentle support from one person to another.

We can work as a team, to focus on what you would like to achieve. This can be short-term or open-ended, depending on your wishes.

I am a registered member of the BACP and I work ethically and with integrity within the BACP guidelines and ethical framework.  I am DBS checked and insured.  All confidential information is stored within GDPR regulations and I am ICO registered.

My first session

I offer a free 30 minute 'getting to know you' session so we can assess how we would work together, or if someone else might be a better fit.  An important aspect in counselling is the relationship forged between us, and so it is beneficial to introduce ourselves to each other prior to commencing sessions - the magic is in the Counsellor/Client relationship!

It also allows me to gather some basic details and for you to tell me about what brings you to therapy and your hopes and goals for the sessions, so we could get an idea of how we would work together.
