About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced psychodynamic counsellor and psychoanalytic psychotherapist. I work with a wide variety of issues including anxiety, depression, difficulty sustaining meaningful relationships, identity issues, phobias, work related difficulties, eating disorders and addictions. My past experience includes working both in the private and public sectors. I have over four years experience working specifically within the LGBT community and I have also worked for a number of years as as an associate therapist at a private eating disorders clinic in Central London, where I specialised in working with all forms of disordered eating.
I have completed two clinical trainings, one in counselling and the other in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. The latter, more intensive training, allows me to work with individuals more than once a week - up to four times per week, if required.
I work with adults for face to face counselling and psychotherapy both open ended and time limited.
My private practice is a short walk from both Kings Cross and Mornington Crescent stations, on St Pancras Way.
I suggest having an initial consultation so we can explore what's troubling you and discuss what you are hoping to achieve from therapy. You can then decide if you'd like to go forward, but you are under no obligation to do so. The initial consultation costs £60 and ongoing sessions range from £55 to £80 depending on your financial situation.
