Counselling times are provided to be as flexible as possible to accommodate each clients circumstances. Due to the current pandemic, all counselling is now provided on an online forum.
About me and my therapy practice
Behind the signs and symptoms of mental health concerns there is often a story, perhaps many stories that have lead you to this point.
As an experienced counsellor with my training in Person Centred Therapy training completed in 2008 - I have a strong belief that each one of us can find the answers from within ourselves in which to unravel our concerns, worries, confusion... and in time gain clearer insight of our circumstances and work out our own next steps.
How is this done? With the help of a caring, supportive, empathic and confidential counselling relationship.
Often there is no quick fix, but given time (however long this may take) there will be a better understanding of how things are for you and how you want to be.
In conjuction with my private work, I volunteer at a local counselling charity, supporting clients of all ages from aged 13 to around late 40's. And facilitate a parent support group, for those who's children experience mental health / behavioural difficulties. In addition to this I am an Accredited Instructor of Youth - Mental Health First Aid (delivering courses for a local CCG).
(Note: With an extensive employment background, I can also offer mentoring and career/ life coaching).
